I Want to Introduce a Great Free Game 

(Cargo Bridge 2)

Cargo Bridge 2 is very useful free game to study engineering.

Today, I've found this game and played all day long. Now I am better at building bridge!

My bridge was so strong that it could last more than 5 minutes. Don't you think I did pretty well?
Then I had Bob walk back and forth
,,, and finally he fell off.
Look at Bob and the elephant in this picture :

The elephant knew his fate; he was just going to fell off.

Bob looks like he's proud of my work on building such a nice bridge, even though he was falling as well.

(Summary) Students answered 8 questions about wagara and kimono.

(Questions and analysis)

My survey was answered by 4 males and 4 females, so I would be able to say the result of my research reflect both idea of male and female.

All the people think it is beautiful.
What was new for me is that they do not think kimono is an old item. Kimono is still accepted by young people.

Not many people want to have wagara design on their clothes.
This is a kind of bad result especially for wagara-shirts makers.

There were some more lists but it was too many to put all here.
Anyway, wagara-jacket is not a good idea. On the ohter hand, socks and pen case can be wagara-designed because here you can see the needs.

It shows that not many people often wear kimono.
It is sad to know that that traditional cloth is not so preferred to wear recently.

4 answers say the most comfortable time to wear kimono is in the morning but the other half say afternoon. This means the time is not a matter to wear kimono.

We can see that some people can have makeup case and card case with wagara.
They can be sold.

I am happy to see that one response says she has a wagara bag/ wallet.
One guy told us a good idea; wagara t-shirts is a good gift.

I loved to have many people's opinion toward wagara and kimono.
This survey can show that there are some markets to sell wagara items still now. Some traditional companies should use this result to expand the market.

My Invention

Smart Garbage Bin

(Original Problem & Idea / Solution)

     Do you see lots of trash around your town? Yeah I am sure that they make you feel bad. they disturb your happy day.

     [..........Why do those trash stay there?..........]
     Because your neighbors are stupid, or garbage bins are stupid.

     Here you go. This garbage bin is smart enough that he can pick garbage from the road. You can get back your beautiful hometown.
     The price is only $6000/ 1 bin.

(Specifics)

・This trash bin moves by itself.

You don't need to care about carrying garbage anymore. Now you can throw it wherever you want. Even if you have often got in trouble with garbage issue because you have no ability to keep your garbage with you until a closest trash bin, you can be totally free to throw it wherever you want. This garbage bin will work for you.

・150 litter bin

This one can take 150 litters of trash once. 

・One robot can clean 1 km².

This trash bin works so hard that this can clean 1 km² /day. If Kyoto City want to be clean with this robot, they would buy 683 thousands, which cost only 4 billion dollars + running cost.

・Busier town.

The big amount of this smart bin makes your town look much busier. If Kyoto use this, two- fifth of people will be A Smart Garbage Bin.     

(Summary)

As long as you have stupid citizens, your hometown is not going to be clean by itself, even though many volunteers are picking up lots of trash everyday. Now you just need to pay for some amount of money and all the trash will disappear.

FIELDMATE™ Review

(Overview)

FIELDMATE™ is a fishing line and I do not really go fishing but I like this product because of its feature, "biodegradable". 
This fishing line is environmentally friendly with the principle of decomposition by microorganisms. Its performance is totally fine when kept clean and dry, but when exposed to the biological activity of bacteria underwater or underground, FIELDMATE™ gradually decomposes to form wrapping carbon dioxide and water.
Biodegradable fishing lines are not common globally. It is honorable as Japanese that Toray made it. 

The retail price is around 1,500 yen.

・The feel is like a rubber 

(Pros and Cons)

(+) Birds, dolphins, and other plenty of animals can be saved.★
(+) Decrease nervous feelings when you lose a part of a fishing line.
(+) makes feel easy to go fishing.

(-) More expensive than usual fishing lines.
(-) A little bit weak compare to normal plastic lines.
(-) Not easily available.

　★Fishing lines left in the nature by humans have killed a big amount of creatures in the sea like dolphins and waterfowls. I've seen many dead swans and ducks who were involved with fishing lines. Fishing lines can chain up their feet, cut their feet, tighten the necks and kill. To save them, we must stop fishing, or use biodegradable lines, or maybe we need to jump into the water to collect all the lines if we lose.

I give FIELDMATE™ a score of 6 / 10.
It is not the perfect solution at all because it is not the best quality and not produced now actually, but using normal plastic fishing lines should be minus 10000 point.

Decide to buy a biodegradable one, or you will use a plastic lines as a dolphin killer.
I hope more people will realize the necessity of biodegradable ones. Do you still prefer to use a cheap animal-killing plastic fishing line?

1- Jodogahama; this is one of the most beautiful sea shore in Japan. We can visit in any season to find out its seasonal beauties.


2- Tsugaruishi-gawa; a river that salmons come is this beautiful one. In winter swans amaze us a lot with their beauty.


3- Hirakata-no-taki; This waterfall is located in a mountain side.


4- Sanou-iwa; This funnily shaped rock along the sea shore is also a great spot to visit.


5- A Kamegamori Cherry Blossom; We should visit in the beginning of May to see this beautiful sakura tree.


6- Tsunami Memorial Park Nakanohama; This is a very important point. When we go there, studying what The Tohoku Earthquake caused.
